AlexAnn Westlake
AlexAnn WestlakeExecutive Director & Certified Nurse Midwife
AlexAnn (she/her/hers) is the Executive Director of Our Community Birth Center. She is a Certified Nurse Midwife and former midwife of the Nurse Midwifery Birth Center in Lane County. AlexAnn grew up in Lane County and is passionate about building a plan for sustainable birth center services in Lane County. She is a graduate of the University of Oregon and Oregon Health & Sciences University. She is also the parent of one child born with midwife assistance in 2016.
Sarah Imig
Sarah ImigRN, IBCLC
Sarah (she/her/hers) is a Registered Nurse and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. She first started working with families as a doula in 2006 in Pennsylvania. She opened and led Pennsylvania’s first chapter of International Cesarean Awareness Network (ICAN). Since becoming a nurse, Sarah has worked both in the community and in the hospital. She worked as a nurse and lactation consultant at the former Nurse Midwifery Birth Center in Lane County the past five years. She is also the proud mama of two amazing people, one born by cesarean and one born at home.
Holly Russell
Holly RussellRN, CLC
Holly (she/her/hers) is a Registered Nurse and Certified Lactation Counselor. She earned her nursing degree from Lane Community College. Holly has worked in maternal child health since 2009 and previously worked at the Nurse Midwifery Birth Center in Springfield. Holly is excited to help Our Community Birth Center find a new home!
Annie Hoag
Annie HoagRN, IBCLC
Annie (she/her/hers) is a Registered Nurse and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. She earned her Bachelors of Nursing from the University of Wisconsin. Annie has worked in women’s health since 1999 and as a birth center nurse and lactation consultant in Eugene/Springfield since 2002. She brings a wealth of experience and a passion for lactation services provided through the Birth Center Model of Care.
Katherine Gordon
Katherine GordonRN, MPH Student Intern
Katherine (she/her/hers) is currently earning her Master’s in Public Health through Benedictine University. She has a Bachelor’s in Nursing from Northwest Christian University and has three years experience working as a Labor & Delivery Nurse. She also has four years experience as a birth doula. Katherine grew up in Lane County and is the happy auntie of two nieces and two nephews.
