Congrats, Rya!

Congrats to Rya on the birth of her baby boy!

Rya has a special connection to Our Community Birth Center, starting here as an intern and then working here for a time as a clinic assistant. It was an honor to care for her and her baby.

The prenatal care here felt personal and the midwives did a great job at including me in making decisions about my care and communicating concerns with me. I felt heard and cared for throughout my pregnancy. The team is always super quick to respond to messages and never make you feel like you’re reaching out too much! I felt safe during my labor and birth and supported by my care team. The at home postpartum visits were probably my favorite part of my care at the birth center!”
