Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Our Community Birth Center! We are a grassroots organization and volunteers are essential to our success. Examples of volunteer skills we are seeking include:
- Fundraising, development, and grant writing
- Community outreach and engagement
- Birth Center advocacy
- Event volunteers and event planning
- Miscellaneous tasks like stuffing, sealing, and sorting envelopes
- Professional skills such as accounting, marketing, design, photography, and others
- Student interns who are interested in nonprofits or perinatal health care
- Join our Social Justice Committee: Do you have a passion for social justice, equity and inclusion? Is your vision to see that all community members have safe and equitable access to birth center services? If so, join our Social Justice Committee! We meet over Zoom on the second Wednesday of the month at noon, and are made up of Our Community Birth Center staff, board members, and community members.
