Did you know that Our Community Birth Center is led by birth center parents and midwives collaboratively? Our Board of Directors and many of our volunteers are birth center parents. Also, we are excited that even our architect, Kira Malone from 2fORM Architecture, who designed the remodel for our building is a birth center parent! It made the work of designing the birth center floor plan flow very smoothly since she has personal knowledge of the purpose and services of the birth center. The welcoming community room. The open kitchen located at the heart of the building for families and staff. The natural views of the park from the birth room windows. There are so many special aspects of this birth center that fill us with joy! We are looking for a few more volunteers to help with our remodel prep work party on Saturday June 26th. Let us know if you're available to help! We will be removing carpets and trim plus a couple other tasks.
